All saffron youngsters grow up at the superb Lisheen Stud at Bundanoon - great fencing, pasture improved - and boy do they grow tough legs! Meredyth Hughes is a super professional and we recommend her most highly.
De caprio and Matthew Dowsley competed at Ankum Germany on 19 and 20 Jan 2013 - scoring 68.6 in Grand Prix and 3rd and 68.9 in GP Special and 3rd! Well done boys - and yes it was held indoors. De Caprio seems to be learning that indoors is not so bad - especially when it's snowing and minus 2 outside!

Dante is just like an over grown teddy bear. He loves carrots and cuddles. His motto is "too much attention is never enough". Winx (Weekend Feeling) better stay sound or else Rodney and Andrea will be battling over Dante!!!! Sadly Andrea has to work to support her horses so barely has time for 1 horse! Rodney and Matthew are very happy to help her out and fit in with her schedule!

2012 Breeding Update
Donner Carina, Donner Meyer, PSI Oktavia and APH Feuer are all in foal to stallions including Sandro Hit, Ampere and Bellisimo M
Due to the fact that they have given so many embryos, it was time for the Saffron girls to enjoy having their own foals rather than go through yet more gruelling embryo procedures! They are most certainly enjoying the cruisy life of a pregnant very spoilt mare!

Novice champion- Donner Meyer with Matthew Dowsley
Medium champion- Weekend Feeling with Rodney Martin
Intermediate 1 champion- PSI De Caprio with Matthew Dowsley
Rod Barker Memorial Trophy for horse and rider with highest score excluding freestyles and young horse classes - PSI De Caprio and Matthew Dowsley- score 72%
Weekend Feeling (pictured right at home) also placed in both advanced tests as well!
